To enhance our R&D team in Mumbai / India, we are looking for a

Senior Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)

to join our Indian innovation centre as soon as possible. The right candidate has a strong expertise in embedded systems development as the primary focus, along with proficient knowledge of full-stack development for web and cloud integration.

YOUR ROLE:

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining various embedded software solutions for our entire product portfolio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and reliable software products.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing and implementing embedded software solutions in C/C++ for various hardware platforms
• Optimize code regarding performance, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with hardware electronics engineers, full-stack software developers, UX designers, and product managers
• Troubleshooting and debugging of software
• Ensure best coding practices, security, and compliance with industry standards
• Product certifications

YOUR QUALIFICATION & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software or electrical engineering, or related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a senior or lead engineer
• Comprehensive experience in embedded software development using C/C++, FreeRTOS, and embedded Linux-based systems
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, IoT devices, and hardware/software integration
• Proficient knowledge of full-stack software development, incl. JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, Angular, etc. and of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• A structured and independent way of working and a precise work style
• Team orientation, communications skills
• Very good written and spoken English
• Enthusiasm for innovative, environmental-friendly products
