The company is seeking a talented Embedded Software Engineer to develop software for AI-driven medical devices. The primary goal is to create reliable, high-performance systems that bring advanced technology to the medical field, particularly in cancer diagnostics. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about working on impactful technologies that directly benefit healthcare professionals and patients.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates will work on one or more of the following areas, depending on their expertise and interest:
- Hardware Control Development
- Develop software for controlling devices like cameras and mechanical systems.
- Embedded Linux Applications
- Design and develop applications for embedded Linux systems.
- Microcontroller Development
- Program microcontrollers (MCUs) for device control and data processing.
- Image Processing Acceleration
- Implement and optimize image processing algorithms, leveraging tools like GPUs and CUDA for parallel processing.
- Embedded AI Inference
- Integrate AI inference models into embedded systems for real-time performance.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence and compatibility with medical device software regulations and standards.
Job Features & Expectations
- Dynamic Challenges: Engineer systems that blend software, hardware, and AI models, tailored for real-world medical applications.

Required Qualifications
To excel in this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of embedded software development experience.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in programming languages such as C/C++, CUDA, Python, and Linux-based development.
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks like V4L2, Gstreamer, and OpenCV.
- Communication Skills:
- Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and documentation in English.
- Proficiency in either English or Japanese at a business level.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences are highly valued:
- Development of applications for embedded Linux environments.
- Experience in GUI development for embedded devices.
- Knowledge of medical device software development and relevant standards.
- Background in IoT security systems for embedded devices.
- Advanced education in computer science, engineering, or related fields (graduate or undergraduate degree).
