We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing Perth Engineering group to meet the increased demand for critical metals and battery mineral projects.
Skills, Experience And Duties Not Limited To
Sound/Solid understanding of HV/LV electrical schematics design in mining/mineral processing environment.
Ability to independently develop electrical design drawings (SLDs, Schematics and Terminations), from first principles, relevant standards, and best practices.
Proven experience in mining sector in a design, commissioning, testing and chemical process industries.
Leadership skills to manage a design project from conception to delivery.
High degree of communication skills to provide direction to junior engineers, designers, and drafters.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to write technical documentation, reports, and scopes of works.
Perform electrical calculations including load studies, cable sizing, electrical equipment sizing calcs etc.
Prepare specification documentation for electrical equipment in a mining environment.
Knowledge of power systems studies would be highly desirable.
