Allied Resources is hiring an Electrical Engineer to perform nuclear power plant engineering analysis, provide engineering support for industrial plant systems design, and resolve equipment issues. This is a long-term contract located in Byron, IL with a base salary ranging up to $145,000, and 8-4PM schedule, and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide design engineering support for nuclear power plant refueling outages.
• Offer technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to design criteria, practices, procedures, and applicable codes in the preparation of plans, packages, and specifications.
• Perform electrical engineering for industrial plant systems design and power plant engineering analysis, including ETAP or EMTP power systems modeling.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring financial performance.
• Implement Measurement Uncertainty Recapture (MUR) projects, Turbine Replacement Projects (Turbine Retrofits), and Extended or Stretch Type Power Uprates (EPU or SPU).

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in ETAP or EMTP power systems modeling.
• Proficient in Industrial Plant systems design.
