Senior Dynamics 365 Integration Developer

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Dynamics 365 Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and other relevant technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other business-critical systems. You will work with both cloud-based and on-premise solutions to deliver scalable and efficient integration processes while ensuring business requirements are met. You will collaborate with functional consultants, project teams, and business stakeholders to create and implement solutions that improve efficiency and drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions for Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement) using Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
• Develop workflows and automations with Logic Apps to connect D365 with other systems, both on-premise and in the cloud (e.g., ERP systems, third-party applications, databases, etc.).
• Use Azure Functions to implement serverless business logic, performing custom processing and transformations for integration scenarios.
• Collaborate with project managers, D365 functional consultants, and business stakeholders to gather integration requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services for D365 integrations, ensuring data flows securely between systems.
• Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring within integration solutions to ensure seamless data transfer and transaction reliability.
• Design and implement data mappings and transformations for smooth data exchange between Dynamics 365 and third-party systems.
• Leverage Azure API Management for managing and securing integration endpoints.
• Perform integration testing and ensure that all solutions are thoroughly tested before deployment, identifying any performance bottlenecks and ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Work in an Agile development environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver incremental changes.
• Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, and follow industry best practices.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed to maintain high code quality.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and D365 to continuously improve the integration landscape.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure Integration Services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions for developing cloud-based integration solutions.
• Solid experience in integrating D365 (Customer Engagement or Finance & Operations) with third-party systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and OData.
• Proficient in JSON, XML, and SQL for data transformation, mapping, and querying.
• Experience with Azure API Management for managing and securing integration endpoints.
• Expertise in data mapping and ETL processes for seamless data transfer between systems.
• Experience with DevOps practices, particularly using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment.
• Familiarity with integration tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Strong understanding of security protocols like OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, and best practices for secure integration.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies and participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex integration issues and provide support in post-production environments.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Familiarity with Power BI and integrating data visualizations with D365.
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture and working with Event Grid or Service Bus for asynchronous messaging.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless design patterns.
• Familiarity with containerization and tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
