Summary

Developmental Pathways (DP) is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as our Senior Director of Program Operations. This role will shape and lead the strategic direction of our Program Operations Department to include administrative services, case management care team, and program excellence. As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Director of Program Operations will oversee the development and execution of operational strategies that support the organization's mission and drive measurable outcomes. This includes full oversight of compliance, process improvement, and business planning across the department. The successful candidate will be an innovative systems-thinker, an experienced team leader, and a collaborative partner across all programmatic and administrative functions. In addition, success in this role will require a strong understanding of existing and future DP programming, strategic priorities, project management principles and practices, budgetary and data management expertise, and demonstrated business forecasting/planning acumen. To learn more about our commitment to inclusion and diversity, visit our website: https://www.dpcolo.org/about-us/inclusion-and-diversity/ Requirements * Bachelor's degree in human services or related field * Minimum of two (2) years of Director-level experience in a human services field * Minimum of three - seven (7) years of management experience * Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State Home and Community Based Services and non-Home and Community Based services statutes, regulations, and requirements * Deep understanding of developmental disabilities and person-centered planning * Proficiency with case management software and analytics tools * Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills * Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work as appropriate * Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and proof of motor vehicle insurance * Ability to meet our driving requirements - no suspensions/ no more than two tickets in the past three years Upon request, qualifying need, and approval, driving requirements may be waived in lieu of reliable transportation. Preferred * Master's degree in human services or related field Qualifications Additional Responsibilities * Oversees, coordinates, and supervises indicated programmatic and departmental operations to ensure appropriate and quality services are provided internal program teams, individuals served, and the community * Develops, maintains, and enhances program business strategy in partnership and collaboration with key business stakeholder * Creates, implements, and monitors departmental goals and objectives and ensures they align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives, seeks input from team members * Conducts competitive risk, SWOT, cost-benefit, and other analyses as needed; makes informed recommendations and/or solutions to leadership * Serves as a liaison to other agency departments and outside entities in a positive manner; Cultivates relationships with the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) team and community partners, as appropriate * Works to remain updated and knowledgeable of policy and contractual changes affecting our business * Develops, updates, and makes recommendations for departmental policies and procedures * Oversees and directs department employees in program operations and regulatory functions * Assesses work performance, provides feedback and guidance as necessary; completes regular performance evaluations for supervised staff * Strong commitment to mentorship and supervising the performance and professional development of leaders and staff while also building and sustaining a culture focused on innovation and expansion * Develops, oversees, and manages the departmental budgets; identifies budgetary needs; solicits input from team members and makes sure employees are aware of budgetary goals and constraints About Us Started in 1964, Developmental Pathways (DP) is a nonprofit agency serving more than 15,000 individuals with disabilities and their families in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Elbert counties. We are a designated Case Management Agency (CMA) for long-term care services and are one of Colorado's Community Centered Boards (CCB), connecting people to federal, state, county, and private funding. We are also Colorado's largest Early Intervention (EI) provider and help connect young children to essential resources, serving the City of Aurora in addition.
