Summary

Job Purpose

To drive the activation, growth, and productivity of the Employee Benefits (EB) Scheme, while retaining existing renewal business through the Broking channel.


The Role

As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding the Employee Benefits portfolio, ensuring sustained business growth and client retention through strategic engagement and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the GID-EB broking team to meet individual and collective sales targets for both renewal and new business acquisition.
  • Drive business development initiatives for the GID-EB segment via the broking channel to achieve set business objectives.
  • Monitor sales performance and key business initiatives, and provide timely updates through weekly sales reports.
  • Oversee daily distribution support and activities for existing corporate clients to meet overall sales and profitability targets.
  • Support and coordinate client engagement initiatives such as events, health talks, and employee briefings.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at expanding the direct EB business.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to foster a culture and conduct environment that aligns with the organization’s core values.
  • Promote and uphold cultural and behavioral expectations within the department and division.
  • Ensure adherence to the Credit Control Procedures (CCP).
  • Take ownership of identifying and mitigating business and regulatory compliance risks.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, emerging threats, and technologies to proactively manage risk and protect the organization.
  • Proactively highlight potential risks or concerns and share best practices in risk management.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
