Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of DefenseTS/SCI security clearance ispreferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications:
Extensive experience in Digital Signal Processing (DSP), knowledge of MATLAB (or Python) for DSP using the related tool boxes
Preferred Qualifications:
Statistical Signal Processing, Detection & Estimation Theory, Radar Signal Processing
Description:
As a Senior DSP Systems Engineer for SIS Core Engineering, youll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and modeling algorithms, verifying their implementations, and analyzing their performance on a range of systems. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services.
The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to create and manage various GDMSand client technologies. Senior DSP Systems Engineers analyze, design, develop, and test DSP algorithms implemented in hardware and software for Space-based systems. Your duties would include:
* Signal processing architecture
* Algorithm development
* Performance verification and validation
* Fixed point model conversion for hardware implementation
* Hands-on system performance verification and validation in the lab

Workplace:

Combined Salary Range
USD $115,674.00 - USD $128,325.00 /Yr.
