Position : DevOps System Engineer

Employment Type : :

• Develop, maintain, and improve DevOps processes, automation scripts, and tools using Python.
• Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Perform Windows and Linux patch management, including scheduling, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to streamline and automate CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Maintain and improve system monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes.
• Analyse system performance and recommend optimizations for infrastructure and applications.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external security standards and policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance, networking, and application deployment.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, System Engineering, or Cloud Engineering role.
• Strong Python scripting skills for automation and system management.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Solid experience in Windows Server and Linux system administration (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Expertise in patch management and understanding of patch deployment tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Certification in AWS, Azure, Linux, or related fields.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2).
