Summary

General Summary:

The Cloud DevOps Engineer is responsible for deploying, automating, and maintaining Cloud Infrastructure, as well as testing and support of a diverse range of environments. In addition, the position is responsible for code and automate deployments adhering to industrywide standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline
  • Configure and implement the public cloud environment for enterprise and business applications.
  • Refactor and migrate enterprise and business applications running on-premise to the public cloud
  • Troubleshooting and solutioning of issues in the AWS/GCP environment.
  • Design and build automation solutions to reduce manual efforts and increase team efficiency.
  • Should have good expertise on Architecture design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience on Cloud Cost Optimization.


Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or Administrator able to demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the cloud computing market, enterprise, and open-source technologies.
  • Collaborate with DevOps team to add instrumentation and monitoring to support production environments.
  • Hands-on with Ansible, Chef (good to know), Redshift (good to have), Terraform, PowerShell/Bash/Python, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with CI tools like Jenkins/Bamboo / Git hub actions / AWS code pipeline.
  • Good to have experience with application security tools.
  • Identify and automate measurement of cloud operations KPIs for AWS & GCP services.
  • Consult on all aspects of Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure offerings.
  • Integrate with corporate datacenters and/or third-party infrastructure such as VPN, Direct Connect, firewalls, etc.
  • Manage shared cloud infrastructure services such as Azure and AWS organizations and accounts, EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAM, IPAM, security groups, NACLS, routing, active directory, Federation, DNS and others.
  • Perform hands-on technical coaching to accelerate cloud infrastructure learnings across the organization.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices.
  • Pair with engineering teams to design and implement codified stacks that meet the needs of their applications.
  • Operate and support cloud team products and legacy applications not operating in a full-stack operating model.
  • Drive infrastructure as code and configuration management communities of practices across the organization.
