The Role:

We are searching for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join this dynamic scaleup in Berlin (backed by parent company). In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines that power innovative logistics solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and high-performance cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles with Terraform.
• Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration, optimising resource utilisation and ensuring high availability.
• Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and improve release velocity.
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance issues, implementing preventative measures and ensuring system stability.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and performance within the cloud environment.
• Implement and maintain security best practices within the AWS and Kubernetes environments.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of DevOps tooling and automation frameworks.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role within a cross-functional team.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, 1 and
