Responsibilities
As a Team Lead, you will oversee the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, ensuring successful project delivery and team performance. Your responsibilities will include:
> Collaborate with Stakeholders: Facilitate communication between business analysts, IT teams, and business users to gather and clarify requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
> Project Planning and Prioritization: Lead the analysis of project requirements, prioritize tasks, and develop effort estimates and timelines. Ensure that the team is aligned with project goals and deadlines.
> Guide Implementation: Oversee the implementation of new functionalities, ensuring that development aligns with best practices and project specifications.
> Client Collaboration: Work closely with internal clients to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring that solutions meet business needs and expectations.
> Deployment Oversight: Manage the rollout of changes into production, verifying successful implementation and addressing any post-deployment issues.
> Technical Leadership: Provide leadership to the development team including new technologies adoption, architecture designs and development best practices.
> Mentorship and Development: Mentor and support team members, give coaching and guidance in their career growth, and foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
As a Team Lead, you will be instrumental in driving the team's success, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering a culture of continuous growth, improvement and innovation. - Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly in n-tier architecture which span across multiple platforms
- Proficient communication skills in English
- Hands on development experience in banking/financial industry
- Experience in leading a development team and guiding junior team members to grow their careers
- Experience in partnering with business users and driving business requirements to technical deliveries
- Knowledge and hands on experience in Agile/DevOps
- Strong proficiency in Core JAVA and understanding OOP, common Java frameworks and technologies, including Spring Framework, Hibernate / JPA.
- Experience in Java multiple-threading program is highly preferred
- Experience on web services, including knowledge of REST / SOAP / XML / JSON
- Good knowledge and hands on experience with databases (SQL)
- Experience in GenAI, Prompt engineering will be a plus
- Experience in Cloud, Power Platform, UiPath, Low Code tools will be a plus
- Web UI experience using HTML5, JavaScript or Angular will be a plus
