ONE (1) SENIOR/LEAD SYSTEM DEVELOPER

Salary      : Php 75,000.00 (Seventy-Five Thousand Pesos) per month;

Status      : Contract of Service;

Duration  : Six (6) months, renewable for the succeeding period;

Unit          : Information and Communications Technology Division (ICTD);

Location  : CDA Head Office, Cubao, Quezon City;

Minimum Qualifications:

●     Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent; and

●     Two (2) years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

●     Must have at least five (5) years of experience in developing distributed systems, service-based web applications, or document management systems;

●     Demonstrable experience in MySQL, Java, C++, PHP, React or Vue, HTML5, CSS3, and BootStrap to be demonstrated by certifications provided by internationally-regarded organizations or by three (3) projects completed within the last two (2) years;

●     High proficiency in service-oriented architectures, especially using asynchronous messaging;

●     High proficiency in OAuth2.0 and OpenID Connect;

●     Must have either a cloud developer certification or proven experience in at least two (2) cloud software development with at least one (1) in a hybrid set-up;

●     High proficiency in UML2.0;

●     Experience in containerization and process orchestration;

●     Demonstrable experience in secure coding practices;

●     Proficiency in programming languages such as Javascript, Python, or PHP;

●     Strong knowledge in SQL and No-SQL database systems;

●     Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js. Codeigniter);

●     Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum);

●     Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

●     Excellent communication and teamwork abilities;

●     Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git);

●     Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices;

●     Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers; and

●     Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Responsibilities:

●     Lead the development, testing, and deployment of Human Resource Development application;

●     Lead the development, testing, and deployment of Asset/Inventory application;

●     Maintenance of other Information Systems of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA)

●     Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical requirements;

●     Ensure the quality and performance of applications through code reviews and testing;

●     Maintain and update existing software systems;

●     Provide technical guidance and support to team members; and

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
