Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in the design of structural steel, including pre-engineered buildings (preferred), connection design, and the review of approval drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and review client drawings and project specifications.
• Design structural members and connections, ensuring accurate preparation of design calculations.
• Review and approve project drawings while coordinating with draftsmen.
• Populate estimate sheets with design outputs and relevant quotations.
• Collaborate with and review the work of designers to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Propose and implement value engineering solutions to optimize structural designs and minimize material weight.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• A minimum 7 years of experience in steel structure and pre-engineered buildings filed.
• Strong knowledge of international standards, including ASCE, AISC, EURO, IBC, and SBC.
• Proficiency in design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, IDEASTATICA, and RAM Connection.
• Expertise in structural analysis (1st and 2nd order) and dynamic analysis methods.
• Familiarity with reinforced concrete design is considered an advantage.
