Key Responsibilities

• Database Design and Development:
• Design, develop, and implement complex database solutions, including data models, tables, indexes, and constraints.
• Create PL/SQL code (stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages) that is effective and manageable to automate database operations and implement business rules.
• Database Performance Tuning:
• To increase query performance and system efficiency overall, identify database performance bottlenecks and apply optimization strategies.
• To avoid downtime, keep an eye on the health of your database, spot possible problems, and take preventative action.
• Data Integration and ETL:
• To extract, transform, and load data from several sources into the target database, design and implement data integration solutions utilizing ETL technologies.
• Throughout the data integration process, make sure the data is consistent and of high quality.
• Database Security:
• Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data, including user access controls, encryption, and data masking.
• Stay up-to-date with security best practices and industry standards.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• To comprehend needs and provide excellent solutions, work well with development teams, data analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Strong PL/SQL development and Oracle database administration skills.
• extensive familiarity with SQL, SQL tuning, and performance optimization methods.
• Experience with data modeling and database design concepts.
• Understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
• understanding of best practices for database security.
• strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database systems, such as AWS RDS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Familiarity with programming languages for automation, such as Python and Perl.
