We’re looking for a seasoned SQL Database Developer with deep expertise in designing, optimizing, and maintaining large-scale, cloud-integrated databases. If you have a strong grasp of relational modelling, query performance, and enjoy working in a high-scale cloud environment, this is a unique opportunity to shape data flows in a modern MarTech platform.

What You'll Work On

• Design and develop robust SQL Server / Azure SQL databases to support high-volume transactional systems
• Write complex T-SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views with a focus on performance and scalability
• Collaborate with backend engineers (.NET, Node.js) to build efficient data-driven APIs
• Monitor and optimize query execution plans, indexes, partitions, and resource consumption
• Implement and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for moving and transforming data across systems
• Work closely with data engineers and analysts on data integration, reporting, and analytics workflows
• Integrate and manage data flows via Azure services such as Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Data Lake
• Ensure data security, consistency, and availability in multi-environment deployments
• Participate in database version control, automated deployment, and CI/CD pipelines

What You Bring

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in SQL Server / Azure SQL development and performance tuning … MUST
• Deep expertise in relational data modelling, normalization, and complex T-SQL scripting … MUST
• Strong knowledge of indexing strategies, query optimization, and troubleshooting slow queries … MUST
• Proven experience working with Azure SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, or equivalent services … MUST
• Experience designing and supporting ETL/ELT processes for both OLTP and analytical workloads … MUST
• Familiarity with SSIS, Power BI, or Azure Data Lake is a plus
• Understanding of data governance, security practices, and backup strategies … MUST
• Experience with version-controlled database development, CI/CD tools, and scripting in deployment pipelines
• Bonus: Exposure to NoSQL, Big Data, or streaming data platforms like Kafka or Event Hub
