We are looking for a Senior Database Administrator. In this key position, you will be responsible for installing, monitoring , maintaining, updating all database instances across the company infrastructure.

In our Projects we should respond to the clients requests in matter of 100 to 200 milliseconds in environment with high level of parallel HTTP and DB queries.

Despite the challenges and pressure to all the infrastructure components the Databases remain the most difficult and sensitive elements to optimize.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Setup new DataBase Clusters
• Daily High-level monitoring and optimization of all database instances
• Daily slow queries monitoring and recommendation for optimization strategies ( schema changes, indexes and etc. )
• Constant performance monitoring, tuning and improvements in terms of QPS/TPS/IOps and parallel connections with goal to achieve better values
• Galera Cluster Monitoring
• OS SubSystems monitoring: CPU usage, IO per second, memory usage and etc.
• Other Strategies to offload the Database nodes: Caching , Sharding and etc.

Qualifications

• Experience 3+ year
• Deep knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL internals
• Deep knowledge of InnoDB Storage Engine
• Deep knowledge how MySQL/MariaDB Optimizer and Analyzer are working
• Table indexes concepts
• Understanding how SQL Joins are working
• Relative experience with Galera Cluster
• A constant thirst for challenges
