9 - 15 years of experience Bengaluru, Chennai Full-Time (Hybrid) Job Summary The Oracle Apps DBA is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Databases. This role involves performing installations, upgrades, patches, backups, and troubleshooting, ensuring that the system operates efficiently and meets business requirements. Key Responsibilities Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 and Oracle database administration (Oracle 11g/12c/19c). Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Apply patches and updates to Oracle EBS, including functional and technical patches. Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle applications and databases. Backup and restore Oracle databases using RMAN (Recovery Manager) or other tools. Perform database performance tuning, including query optimization and indexing. Implement and manage data security and user access policies. Proficiency in Oracle database tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting. Experience with Oracle EBS patching, cloning, and migration techniques. Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, OAM, and other Oracle technologies. Experience with shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL for automation and troubleshooting. Database RMAN backups, restores and recoveries. OEM monitoring, identifying performance issues. Unix, Linux basic support, shell scripting. Preferable to have knowledge in OCI. Good Leadership and commitment towards project management.
