Responsibilities

• Routine monitoring and operations of databases to guarantee smooth operation and take prompt actions to rectify any issues identified. 
• Resolve incidents/problems reported by end users, developers, application owners, and external parties working on different projects, that occurred in different systems in the scope.
• Apply relevant patches into databases and migrate code changes into the production systems.
• Prepare root cause analysis and issue log reports for resolved/reported incidents.
• Prepare documents on routine maintenance operations of the databases and manage version control.
• Maintain system architecture and other system specific documentation, prepare and maintain documents related to DR operations.

Qualifications

• Having an Oracle Certified Professional Certificate / MySQL Database Admin Professional Certificate will be advantageous.
• Minimum of 3+ years of post-qualifying industry experience in Oracle and MySQL database Administration.
• Proficiency in Data Base Management Systems including Oracle & MySQL.
• Knowledge in scripting, SQL, PLSQL.
• A target driven individual with attention to details. 
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Should be a team player with good communication skills.
