Our engineering, cloud, data, experience design, and talent solution capabilities accelerate transformation and impact for enterprise clients. https://ascendion.com/ We're seeking a SR DBA to join our team: Requirements · 5 to 8 years managing commercial-grade database systems leveraging the following: o Microsoft SQL Server 2012 – 2022. o Solid T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, database design, configurations and builds, logical and physical data modeling, stored procedures, security, backup/recovery, and data integrity skills. o Strong understanding of SQL internals, Clustering, Always-On, Partitioning, In- Memory, and SAN technologies. o Strong performance troubleshooting, tuning and resolution knowledge including root cause analysis (RCA). o Proficient in implementing and supporting High-Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions o Proficient with PowerShell or Python. o Proficient with Cloud data technologies specific to AWS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, Aurora PostGreSQL, Redshift, EC2, RDS, and other NoSQL technologies. o Proven record with Automation and simplification of data management tasks. o Experience with Visual Studio development and CD/CI solutions for database projects. o 3rd Party monitoring tools, including Idera SQLDM, Solar Winds Ignite, SCOM, and others o Adept at Transactional Replication, including setup, troubleshooting, and creating replication scripts. o Proficient planning and organizational skills; solid verbal and written communication skills. o 24/7 Support on-call rotation. o Cloud Certification – Preference is AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or other Cloud focus. o Conversational English Level.
