Job Description

• Oversees the work of Data Security Analysts, ensuring that their activities align with the organization's data security policies and objectives
• Develop and enforce data security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies, regulations and standards by conducting regular data security audits and risk assessments.
• Monitor and respond to data security incidents and breaches.
• Collaborate with IT, legal, security teams, and business units to ensure data protection compliance.
• Implement data loss prevention (DLP) strategies and technologies.
• Provide training and awareness programs on data security best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest data security trends and threats.
• Prepare and present data security reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations in collaboration with the Data Privacy Team, incorporating data privacy requirements on controls surrounding PIIs.
• Develop and practice joint incident response plans to ensure seamless collaboration during cybersecurity incidents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data security or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., ISO27001, NIST, GDPR).
• Experience with data security tools and technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CC, CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
