About the Role:

As a senior data scientist in Allofresh, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure that we are making data-driven decisions as well as mentoring junior/medior data scientists within the team. You will apply analytical and statistical techniques not only to answer questions but also to generate good questions. The successful candidate will leverage statistics, machine learning, econometrics, causal inference and other tools to answer the problem at hand.

Job Description:

• Work closely with senior stakeholders to define problems and to provide actionable insight based on data-driven approaches
• Mentoring other data scientists with industry & data science best practices
• Identifying potential growth opportunities through data exploration & analysis
• Promoting self-service data driven culture within organization
• Developing scalable data products (data mart pipeline automation, predictive model, prescriptive dashboard, etc.) that drives businesses/products growth

Basic Qualifications:

• More than 4 years of professional experience as Data Scientist or Data Analyst
• Min 1 year of experience as senior data scientist/analyst role
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, Economics, or Mathematics
• Strong ability to distill and translate high-level/ambiguous business cases into clearly defined data analytics problem
• Experience in crafting engaging and compelling data insights for business stakeholders and diverse audiences
• Highly proficient in SQL and Python, following industry best practices
• Solid knowledge in mathematical modeling/statistics, with proven track record in delivering concrete use cases using advanced mathematical/statistical concepts
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Engineering, Sciences, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience as lead data scientist/data analyst role
• Experience in data pipeline orchestration with Airflow
• Experience in MLOps workflow
• Experience in managing multiple projects with competing priorities
• Experience in managing senior stakeholders as data team IC representative
• Prior experience in a technology company (consumer app platform)
