Responsibilities:

• Design and implement advanced machine learning and generative AI solutions for healthcare applications
• Build and optimize data pipelines for healthcare data processing using FHIR, OpenEHR standards
• Develop and deploy AI models for personalized health insights and predictive analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems
• Implement robust MLOps practices to ensure scalability and reliability of AI systems
• Create and maintain technical documentation for data science solutions

Qualifications, Training and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; Master's preferred
• 5+ years of experience in data science, with demonstrable ML/AI engineering expertise
• Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies, including:

1. Working with open-source language models
2. Implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems
3. Fine-tuning and optimizing foundation models
4. Experience with frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or HuggingFace

• Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly Azure (GCP/AWS experience also valued)
• Strong skills in Spark and big data frameworks
• End-to-end data pipeline expertise, from ingestion to model deployment
• Experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow
• Excellent programming skills in Python and SQL
• Strong communication skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake platforms
• Experience in healthcare or insurance industries
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards (FHIR, ICD-10, etc.)
• Experience with data governance practices and policies
• Background in software engineering
• Experience with dashboard development and data visualization
• Track record of successful AI solution design and implementation
