Your mission:

At Tresorit, we believe that data is at the heart of informed decision-making. We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join us in this mission.

In this position, you will play a key role in uncovering insights from data, informing business strategy, and optimizing key metrics. You will be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making, collaborating closely with leadership and stakeholders to provide the evidence and analysis needed to make smarter, more impactful choices.

What you'll be doing?

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights that inform business strategy and product development,
• Collaborate with our various stakeholders across the company (marketing, sales, finance, product) to translate data insights into actionable strategies,
• Perform analyses (exploratory, deep dives, root cause etc.) and uncover patterns that drive business decisions of our stakeholders,
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key performance metrics,
• Collaborate with Data Engineers / Analytics Engineers on ELT/ETL processes feeding the reporting layer of the warehouse,
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy while promoting a data-driven culture within the organization.

What you’ll need?

• 5+ years of experience in data science, business intelligence, or analytics,
• Strong proficiency in SQL,
• Experience with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker etc.),
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, A/B testing, and experiment design,
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into actionable insights,
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment,
• Confident and highly proficient in English (Hungarian is a bonus).

Bonus points:

• Experience in a SaaS, B2B, or startup / scaleup environments,
• Experience with Python for data manipulation & analysis,
• Experience with predictive modeling and advanced analytics techniques in production,
• Contributions in active open-source projects.
