Senior Data Engineer

Up to £85,000 Base Salary + Bonus

South London office x1 per month

OVERVIEW:

Great opportunity for an experienced Senior level Data Engineer to join a reputable data team within a well-established tech/ data-driven brand in the InsurTech space! You will be working within a strong Data Engineering team, playing a key role in the next phase of their Data Platform! Your responsibilities as a Senior Data Engineer will include but not be limited to:

1. Leverage your experience in CI/CD and Software Engineering best practice for building, developing and maintaining data pipelines.
2. Use your experience in AWS & Databricks for the development and next phase of the Data Platform.
3. Work closely with Data Scientists, AI Engineers & Analytics Engineers to enable them to effectively use the Platform and build data products for their huge consumer base.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

A successful Senior Data Engineer will have the following:

1. Minimum 4 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer.
2. Proven experience using Python, Spark, AWS & Databricks.
3. Prior experience using some of the following; Docker/ Airflow/ Terraform.
4. Solid experience in CI/CD and Software Engineering best practice.
