We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Cloud technologies to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions using cloud-native, big data, and NoSQL technologies. They will play a crucial role in building and optimizing our data architecture to support our next-generation products and data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative analytical solutions using Cloud Native, Big Data, and NoSQL related technologies
• Develop and implement Cloud/On-Premise/Hybrid solutions using best in the class data frameworks
• Work with product and engineering teams to understand requirements, evaluate new features and architecture to help drive decisions
• Build collaborative partnerships with architects, technical leads and key individuals within other functional groups
• Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use this in designing quality technical solution
• Actively participate in code review and test solutions to ensure it meets best practice specifications
• Build and foster a high performance engineering culture, mentor team members and provide team with the tools and motivation
• Write project documentation
  
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years in several of the following AWS technologies: Glue, Amazon Elastic MapReduce (EMR), S3, Redshift, Kinesis, Databricks, Lake Formation, Athena, Dynamo DB, Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Lambda, or Azure technologies: Data Lake (ADLS Gen2), Data bricks, Synapse, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Stream Analytics, CosmosDB, or GCP technologies: Data Flow, Dataproc, Data prep, GCS, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, BigQuery
• Experience in some of the following frameworks: Data bricks, Snowflake, Spark, Kafka
• Experience in SQL and some of the following: Python, Java, Scala, Katlin
• Experience in some of the following Kubernetes (KSS), Docker, Linux
• Must have experience in successfully implementing data-centric applications, such as data warehouses, operational data stores, and data integration projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that balance with creative approaches
• Ability to learn new and complex concepts quickly
• Strong experience with large-scale production databases and SQL
• Experience with ETL development (extractions, data load, aggregation, transformation)
• Must be able to take ownership of projects with a prominent level of attention to detail and priority
• Team player with a hands-on approach and attitude
