Job Opportunity: Data Engineer - Core Market Team

We are currently partnered with a globally leading proprietary trading fund based in Amsterdam and/or London. Our client is seeking to expand their Core Market team by adding an experienced Data Engineer. This role involves overseeing the organization’s most valuable data products and managing their end-to-end lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be accountable for the timely and high-quality delivery of core data products.
• Develop and own the complete lifecycle of these data products.
• Define and manage project plans to maintain ownership.
• Create and standardize a common data model across these products, focusing on identifiers, normalized schemas, and master data usage.
• Investigate existing data sources to ensure optimal value extraction.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid experience with Linux, SQL, relational databases, and version control systems.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Kafka, and GCP (AWS experience is also acceptable).
