We’re hiring for experienced Senior Data Engineer for multiple 12 month rolling contract roles for our esteemed client based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Role Details:

Duration: 12 months (extendable)

Work Type: On-Site

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Eligibility: Open to Malaysian Citizens only, due to the requirement for local language communication.

Experience: 5+ Years

Data Engineer-

Description-

• Collect and organize / standardize large datasets from group companies
• Clean and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Demonstrated ETL (Extract Transfer Load) solution design and build expertise, work stream management skills, and business consulting acumen.
• Work with stakeholders to obtain the necessary information to input and record master data and also verify data to ensure completeness and functionality.
• Develop guidelines on proper master data requirements and processes.
• Collaborate with internal operation staffs to support the installation and stable operation of the created master data at each group company.
• Build big data environments, as a group, that enable analytics solutions on a variety of big data platforms including cloud, and create robust documentation of solutions, architecture, automation workflows, and operation procedures
• Develop competence in a broad range of technologies and frameworks for managing all aspects of the data lifecycle.

Requirement-

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years’ experience in data engineering or a related field
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation.
• Familiarity with SQL, BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI and database management.
• Understanding data integration tools and ETL processes.
• Understanding of data privacy and protection regulations.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Proficient in cloud platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
