• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in data engineering or a similar technical role
• Experience working with both relational and non-relational database systems, including data modeling
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as: Apache Airflow, Azkaban, MongoDB, Google Cloud BigQuery
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially GitHub
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL processes, data modeling, and testing
• A solid understanding of streaming architectures (a plus)
• High proficiency in SQL, with a focus on performance and scalability
• Exposure to Docker and containerized environments
• A proactive and flow-oriented mindset, with strong analytical thinking and well-developed problem-solving skills

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support various business needs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced with both batch and streaming data systems.

• Collaborate with a talented BI team, including Data Scientists and BI Developers, to build well-architected and scalable data pipelines
• Analyze complex technical problems and propose effective solutions
• Collect data from various systems to create a consistent, reliable, and unified data source
• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
• Implement data cleaning and quality control processes to ensure high data accuracy and integrity
• Analyze and optimize data flows for improved performance and efficiency
• Design and implement solutions to meet the data needs of analytical and machine learning projects
• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and data stakeholders
• Understand stakeholder data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions
