They are growing rapidly and looking for Data Architect to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities Serve internal customers as a member of the Technical team. Handle Data Engineering tasks. Design user-friendly data models/OLAPs for analysts and business users. Develop, enhance, and monitor data pipelines in the cloud and from on-premises to the cloud. Manage data quality, governance, accuracy, pipeline schedules, and dependencies. Collaborate with the Data Science team on machine learning pipelines, process automation, ad-hoc data queries, and query optimization. Stay updated on emerging tech and trends, and proactively recommend innovative solutions. Fulfill Data Architect duties. Translate business needs into high-quality data architectural designs and specifications. Support application development and data business. Develop and maintain DevOps, open API, and Application frameworks. Provision, maintain, and monitor cloud infrastructure. Assist in system performance testing and tuning activities. Requirements Hold a degree in Mathematics/Information Engineering/Computer Science or a related discipline. Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in data architecture, ETL design, and related development. Possess expertise in Python and good knowledge of object-oriented programming languages. Strong core Java programming skills, and in-depth knowledge of JVM, would be advantageous. Hands-on experience in database design and development with RDBMS such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, Azure Synapse Analytics. Hands-on experience in Azure data services, including Synapse Serverless SQL, Synapse Pipelines, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake with Parquet, and Azure Databricks. Experience in application development and cloud infrastructure provisioning. Familiarity with Linux environment and scripting (bash). Knowledge and experience in any of the following would be advantageous: Machine Learning and Power BI/other BI tools. Data Lake or Unity Catalog or similar. Public Cloud (AWS/Azure/Aliyun) infrastructure provisioning, preferably with IT automation tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and Packer. IT monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus. Application deployment on Kubernetes with Helm. Application security design (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, data protection with various programming APIs and tools). Basic networking, including OSI model, subnets, CIDR notation, VLAN, and NAT. Proven track record of implementing mission-critical systems with over a million transactions daily will be advantageous. Independent and capable of providing suggestions on system design. Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong communication skills.
