We are looking for a Data Analyst (BI & Automation) who is technically exceptional and capable of designing highly customized, automated reporting solutions beyond off-the-shelf templates available in tools like Zoho Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau.

Role Overview

The Data Analyst (BI & Automation) will be responsible for:

• Building scalable data pipelines and integrating data from multiple sources (GA4, Meta, CRM, Finance, Operations).
• Developing custom dashboards and reports with advanced SQL queries, data engineering, and automation.
• Ensuring real-time data visibility and creating automated alerting/reporting mechanisms for decision-makers.
• Developing and optimizing databases beyond what ready-made BI tools offer, using SQL and related technologies.
• This is a highly technical role that goes beyond BI visualization tools— we need someone who can build custom databases, automate workflows, and integrate raw data into meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering, Integration & Automation

• Design and implement custom data models and relational databases for advanced reporting.
• Build ETL pipelines to integrate and process data from Google Analytics 4, Meta Ads, CRM (Zoho), POS systems, and other business platforms.
• Ensure real-time data synchronization between multiple sources to provide live dashboards for business intelligence.
• Develop automated reporting systems that reduce manual intervention and improve data accuracy

Advanced Dashboard & Report Development

• Create highly interactive and automated dashboards using Power BI, Zoho Analytics, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
• Move beyond templated reports by writing complex SQL queries to fetch, transform, and display real-time data.
• Ensure dashboards are dynamic, user-friendly, and self-service for decision makers across departments.

Analytical Insights & Business Intelligence

• Work with leadership and department heads to define key KPIs and business metrics for data-driven decision-making.
• Perform in-depth ad-hoc analyses to uncover hidden trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales, marketing, and operational data.
• Develop predictive models and forecasting tools for business growth and performance analysis.

Market Research & Competitive Benchmarking

• Conduct deep research on industry trends, market positioning, and competitive landscape.
• Develop data-driven insights that help Aliens Tattoo stay ahead of competitors.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, BI Engineer, or Data Scientist in a highgrowth, data-centric environment.
• Expert-level SQL skills – Ability to write complex queries, optimize database performance, and manage large datasets.
• Strong data engineering expertise – Experience with ETL, data pipelines, and real-time data processing.
• Proficiency in BI & Data Visualization Tools – Power BI, Zoho Analytics, Tableau, Google Data Studio.
• Hands-on experience with API integrations – Pulling and structuring data from platforms like GA4, Meta, CRM, Payment Systems, and POS.
• Automation-first mindset – Strong experience in automating reporting, dashboards, and alerts.
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis & automation is a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
