Key Responsibilities
Analyze data across functions—Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Finance—to generate insights that drive strategic and operational decisions.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to analyze user behavior, product usage trends, and feature adoption to inform roadmap decisions.
Navigate complicated data schema and triangulate data cross multiple sources to perform this analysis and drive these operational decisions
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and models that provide visibility into key company and departmental metrics.
Identify areas of operational inefficiency and recommend improvements through analysis and experimentation.
Help build foundational processes and infrastructure for Business Operations as we scale.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and communicate findings to all levels.
Partner with team leads to scope and support strategic projects (e.g., pricing strategy, forecasting models, customer segmentation).
Requirements
2 to 4 years of experience in business operations, strategy, analytics, or a related role—ideally at a fast-paced tech company or startup.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—you’re comfortable working with messy data, making sense of ambiguity, and proposing structured solutions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product and Engineering, to uncover product and customer insights.
Proficiency with Microsoft excel and data visualization and reporting tools
Proficiency with SQL and comfort working with large datasets.
Strong communication skills—you know how to adapt insights to technical and non-technical audiences and present information in a succinct manner.
Exposure to data engineering
Bonus: Experience with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, Vitaly, Metabase
