About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cyber Security Analyst for a 12 months fixed term contract to strengthen and support Bapcor’s growing security operations. This pivotal role will focus on identifying risks, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring our security policies and procedures are robust and effective.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead daily security operations and incident response activities.
  • Review audit findings and contribute to compliance initiatives (PCI DSS, internal audits, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the wider IT and business teams to maintain and enhance Bapcor’s cyber-security framework.
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to evolving cyber threats, ensuring proactive risk management.
  • Assist with security assessments, implement best practices, and support technology upgrades.
  • Produce regular reporting on security metrics and controls assurance.
  • Help foster a strong security culture across the business through training and awareness.


About You

We are looking for an experienced Security Automation professional who has broad exposure in the cybersecurity field and can demonstrate experience in Technology, Security architecture, infrastructure support and security operations.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Previous 3-5 years’ experience in Senior Cyber Security Analyst role. With at least 10 years general IT experience inclusive of dedicated information security experience.
  • Solid experience in cyber security operations, risk assessment, and threat management.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, CMD, Bash.
  • Previous experience with tier 1 EDR solutions, Active Directory on prem, Azure/Entra AD, Azure, Microsoft 365.
