Description

SAIC is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to work with a team of network engineers and technicians supporting our customer, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Revolutionary IT Services (RITS) program. This individual will help us continue operational excellence by applying their strong analytical and problem-solving skills to reduce vulnerabilities across the enterprise, implement STIG controls, comply with service level agreements (SLAs), assist in RMF incident resolution, ticket queue management, customer service actions, and other enterprise network operations activities in the USACE OCIO/G-6 environment, IAW DoD, Army, and USACE O-CIO G6 policies and procedures.

NOTE: This position is a fully remote / work from home position.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years related experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree

Required Skills:

  • Experience providing full spectrum Risk Management Framework (RMF) support for IT
  • Demonstrated proficiency working in an enterprise network environment
  • Demonstrated competency writing clear and detailed documents to address security controls
  • Experience overseeing the POA&M process
  • Team player with a proactive and positive attitude
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate findings clearly either orally or in written form
  • Ability to independently review security artifacts provided by multiple organizations, assess for potential requirements to the enterprise, and cross-reference with knowledge of ongoing operations to determine need for new work vs monitoring ongoing remediation efforts
  • Ability to implement DISA Security Template Implementation Guide (STIG) controls as required
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Must be able to complete Weekly Activity Reports (WARs)
  • Perform all additional duties as assigned
  • Must be DoD 8140 compliant

Required Certifications:

  • Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT/IAM Level II or higher certification (Security+ CE, CySA+ CE, CASP+, ect.) to be considered for this position

Required Clearance:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
