We're seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to help lead our control systems development efforts and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products. This is a hands-on position where you'll be deeply involved in both high-level architecture decisions and day-to-day implementation of control strategies.
Responsibilities
Design and implement advanced control systems for our automated material handling solutions
Develop and optimize industrial PLCs for control systems.
Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to integrate control systems with hardware
Lead the development of control algorithms for motion control, process control, and system automation
Contribute to the product roadmap and technical strategy for control systems
Ensure control system performance, reliability, and safety through rigorous testing and validation
Participate in all stages of the control system development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance
Work closely with the project implementation team to ensure smooth deployment and commissioning of systems at customer sites
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field
4+ years of professional experience in controls engineering
Expertise in developing control systems for industrial machinery and automation
Strong understanding of control theory, feedback systems, and industrial communication protocols
Experience with industrial automation platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Beckhoff)
Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for industrial machinery
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
