This role supports strategic and operational decision-making through rigorous financial reporting, internal control, and cash flow management, while also acting as the key interface with Group Finance and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Management and Reporting
· Guarantee the preparation and reliability of statutory financial statements.
· Prepare annual financial statements, including determination of provisions and drafting of the notes to the accounts and the management report.
· Maintain regular dialogue with statutory auditors and tax advisors.
· Ensure compliance with local accounting and fiscal regulations as well as Group reporting standards.
· Submit various reports to the Federal Statistical Office (e.g., production report, manufacturing industry report, Intrastat declarations).
· Prepare the monthly financial closing under BFC (Day+4 – P&L, BS and CFS) and monthly reforecast (3 months – P&L and CFS).
· Present them on a monthly basis to Group top management.
2. Budgeting and Performance Monitoring
· Lead the annual budgeting process.
· Analyze budget variances and propose corrective measures in collaboration with operational teams.
· Provide monthly financial reporting to Group headquarters.
3. Cash and Treasury Management
· Monitor cash positions and anticipate financing needs.
· Prepare with the team monthly treasury reports and interface with the Group treasury team.
· Ensure internal controls are in place to prevent fraud.
4. Accounting and Operational Support
· Manage the accounting of fixed assets and related depreciation schedules.
· Oversee physical inventory processes and analyze variations, including fair value assessments (notably for non-automotive components).
· Supervise the processing of employee expense reports in accordance with internal policies.
· Ensure proper functioning and use of financial systems (notably SAP and Texware) in coordination with IT and Group Finance.
5. Internal Controls and Compliance
· Deploy Group financial policies and procedures at the local level.
· Ensure that control systems are in place to support industrial operations and secure financial data.
6. Team Management
· Supervise and develop the finance team: goal setting, evaluations, training plans.
· Foster efficient team communication and continuous improvement within the department.
7. External and Internal Stakeholder Management
· Act as the primary point of contact for statutory auditors, tax advisors, banks, and public authorities.
· Coordinate closely with Group Finance and peers in other subsidiaries.
8. Systems and Data Management
· Ensure the appropriate use and integration of IT tools (SAP, Texware) within the financial function.
· Monitor updates to Group IT strategy relevant to finance.
Candidate Profile
Educational Background
· Graduate from a top-tier Business School or Engineering School
· Specialization in Corporate Finance
Professional Experience
· 3-10 years of relevant experience in finance, ideally within the industrial or automotive sector
· Familiarity with matrix organizations and multicultural environments
Technical and Language Skills
· Proficient in accounting, tax, controlling, and financial reporting
· Solid command of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and finance-related software (e.g., Texware and BFC)
· Fluent English. French is a plus.
