We’re Cary Medical Management, based in Cary, NC, and we’re looking for a Senior Accountant/Controller to join our team. Responsibilities and Duties · Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in compliance with accounting standards and guidelines. · Collaboration with RCM Team: Work closely with the Revenue Cycle Management team to streamline billing processes and optimize revenue cycle performance. · Monthly Close Process: Oversee and manage the monthly close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled. · Financial Statements: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. · Vendor Management: Liaise with financial vendors and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions. · Accounting Management: Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Leadership – the individual takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, is willing to accept feedback from others and promotes a positive, professional and harmonious work environment · Judgment – the individual maintains high ethical standards and displays sound and accurate judgment and the ability to remain calm and professional during peak periods of activities · Collaboration – the individual establishes trustworthiness with senior management, peers and other team members across the Company · Analytical – the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully · Oral communication – the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts productive meetings Training and Education · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance · 3 to 5 years progressive experience in accounting/finance · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required · Healthcare/Clinic Experience Required · Experience with Quickbooks and other accounting software is preferred Working Conditions This is an office-based position requiring constant sitting and working on a computer.
