Our Delta Operational team is looking for a Senior Consultant - IT Technical Expert_Sybase & Kondor to help and support one of our clients a major player within the fund industry.

The Senior Consultant - IT Technical Expert_Sybase & Kondor will have the following responsibilities:

• Analyze and assess current Sybase 15.7 database usage, with a particular focus on performance issues related to locking mechanisms.
• Identify root causes of performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in database processes.
• Design and implement technical improvements to optimize queries and processes, ensuring system stability and performance without regression.
• Collaborate with third-party infrastructure providers to implement and validate performance enhancements.
• Work closely with other technical experts to support and improve operations on financial platforms such as Kondor and 4Sight.
• Contribute to technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and traceability of changes.
• Participate in the development of best practices related to database performance and system integration within a high-stakes financial environment
  
  

The Senior Consultant - IT Technical Expert_Sybase & Kondor will also have the responsibility to animate the Delta Accounting tribe, participate to the development of the existing team, animating workshops and training internally and with third parties. As an operational consultant, the Senior Consultant - IT Technical Expert_Sybase & Kondor will act as Subject Matter Expert to support other colleagues in case of expertise needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sybase DBA or Technical Expert, ideally in banking or financial services.
• Deep understanding of performance tuning, locking analysis, and query optimization in Sybase databases.
• Familiarity with financial tools such as Kondor, 4Sight, or similar treasury and risk management platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external service providers.
• A proactive, analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience working in structured IT development/production environments with change control and governance processes
• Master II qualification in Computer Science
• English and French speaking are mandatory, additional language is considered as an advantage
