Mantell Associates have partnered with a cutting edge, pioneering biotech organization at the intersection of artificial intelligence and molecular biology is seeking a Senior Computational Biologist to lead advanced analytics across high-dimensional omics datasets.

Senior Computational Biologist - Responsibilities:

• Develop and apply AI/ML models to interpret multi-omics data (genomics, transcriptomics, epigenetics, etc.) for insights into disease mechanisms.
• Analyse secondary and tertiary sequencing data using statistical genomics and custom ML workflows.
• Translate large-scale datasets into meaningful biological hypotheses and therapeutic insights.
• Collaborate closely with both technical and scientific stakeholders, including executive-level leadership in R&D.

Senior Computational Biologist - Responsibilities:

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 2+ years of experience in an academic or industry setting.
• Expertise in machine learning, statistical modelling, and modern deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
• Proficiency in Python or R, and experience building production-ready computational pipelines.
• Familiarity with NGS data and tools (e.g., GATK, BWA, STAR) and knowledge of genomic databases (e.g., TCGA, ENCODE, GEO).
• Experience working in high-performance or cloud computing environments (e.g., AWS/GPU clusters).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to distil technical findings for diverse audiences.
