You will serve as the Senior Compliance Specialist, overseeing and supporting compliance activities related to the Navy’s Human Research Protection Program (HRPP). Ensures research involving human subjects adheres to federal regulations, Department of Defense (DoD) directives, and Navy-specific policies and ethical standards. Acts as a subject matter expert and liaison across key HRPP stakeholders within the Naval Research Enterprise.

Requirements
REQUIRED
Credentials
Current Tier 3 clearance or the ability to obtain a Tier 3 clearance before the start date.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of work experience in human research protection.
Highest degree of Professionalism
Experience
Working with federal regulations, including DOD/DON regulations and policies.
Reviewing human subject research and assessing it for compliance with federal regulations and guidance.
Writing HRPP-related policy and guidance for IRBs, investigators, and other HRPP stakeholders.
Preparing assurance packages to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
Inspecting and auditing HRPP stakeholders
DESIRED
Experience with both medical and non-medical research conducted and supported by DoD.
Working with senior leadership in DoD and DON human research protection programs.
MS Office Application Certifications
Experience with MS Power BI
