Credo is seeking a Senior Compensation Manager to lead the building and modernization of our compensation and rewards frameworks as we continue to evolve and grow. This is a high-impact role responsible for designing and implementing career leveling, retooling our bonus and equity programs, and driving a holistic, competitive compensation strategy that aligns with our company's goals and values. The Senior Compensation Manager will also be responsible for deploying and simplifying reward programs, writing reward plan documents, and ensuring compliance with audit standards and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Compensation Strategy & Design: Work alongside the People leadership team to redesign and optimize our base salary, bonus, and equity programs to ensure they are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business performance, career framework and job architecture across all functions and geographies.
* Rewards Systematization: Evaluate, improve, and operationalize our compensation processes, including annual merit cycles, bonuses, MBOs (Management by Objectives) and equity refresh programs, ensuring consistency, fairness, and scalability.
* Technology and Tools: Identify opportunities for technology enablement (e.g., compensation management tools) and lead initiatives to streamline and automate compensation administration.
* Market Benchmarking and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analyses and competitive benchmarking to ensure external competitiveness and internal equity and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
* Governance and Compliance: Establish compensation governance processes and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to pay equity, transparency, and reporting.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the People team, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for compensation initiatives.
* Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of compensation programs and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in compensation management or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in business, HR or a related field
* Proven success in designing and building leveling frameworks and job architecture from scratch or significantly overhauling them
* Proficiency in using HR tools (e.g., HRIS, CMS, payroll systems, compensation survey tools and Excel)
* Exceptional analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and action plans
* Strong project management and organizational skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively and influence others
* Comfortable building from scratch and iterating quickly based on feedback
Preferred Qualifications
* Relevant certification (e.g., CCP) preferred
* Experience working in a global or multinational organization
* Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
Pay Range: $155,000 - $195,000
