Do you have what it takes to become a Smartgroup Senior Cloud Engineer?

 

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and resilient cloud and hybrid infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies. You will drive the adoption of Microsoft cloud solutions with a strong focus on security, compliance, and governance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Lead IAM integration and lifecycle management across cloud platforms.
  • Implement security solutions like Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Automate infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code and DevOps practices.
  • Manage secure device configuration and compliance through Microsoft Intune.
  • Ensure data protection and privacy with technologies like Microsoft Purview and DLP.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align with security architecture and compliance frameworks.
  • Lead incident response, system hardening, and security auditing efforts.


Who you are:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Experience with Azure AD, Azure Security Center, and Intune.
  • Knowledge of IAM, RBAC, and PIM.
  • Experience with data governance tools and compliance standards like ISO 27001 and GDPR.
  • Proven track record in cloud migration projects and security framework rollouts.
