We are looking for a highly skilled
Sr. Cloud Engineer to maintain and implement cloud-native infrastructure using AWS, GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes. You will be responsible for building reliable, scalable systems that power production environments and ensuring best practices in cloud infrastructure and automation. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers and make key decisions on building versus buying solutions to optimize scalability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and implement cloud-native infrastructure using AWS, GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes, following best practices for scalability and automation;
- Develop and deploy infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform, ensuring repeatable and reliable deployments;
- Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes (GKE, EKS), optimizing for performance and scalability;
- Troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues and ensure high availability of systems;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions aligned with business goals;
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or Cloud Engineer role;
- Strong expertise in AWS or GCP cloud systems;
- In-depth experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably using Terraform;
- Proficiency in containerization and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes (GKE, EKS);
- Solid understanding of Linux environments and familiarity with two or more Linux distributions;
- Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative development;
- Coding skills in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or similar);
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and network configurations;
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related fields.
Bonus points for
- AWS or GCP certifications;
- Experience working with both AWS and GCP environments;
- Experience automating manual tasks using scripting and other tools;
- Familiarity with cloud security practices and cost optimization techniques.
