We are looking for a motivated, pro-active Cloud Engineer with profound hands on experience in GCP and working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Our client is a state-owned closed joint-stock company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia that offers services in aviation management. Established in 2013 by the country's General Authority of Civil Aviation it today operates all of Saudi Arabia's 29 civilian airports through its four wholly owned subsidiaries.

The client aims to accelerate the adoption of cloud computing services and seeks for the team of experts to help them shift their infrastructure to cloud.

Requirements:

• 3–5+ years as a Cloud, SRE, or Systems Engineer
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, etc.)
• Cloud migration expertise (from on-prem or AWS/Azure)
• Familiarity with hybrid/multi-cloud setups
• Solid networking knowledge in GCP (VPC, VPN, firewalls, load balancing)
• Proficient in IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager
• Skilled in automation & CI/CD (Terraform, Cloud Build, GitHub Actions)
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go
• Extensive Kubernetes and Docker experience (GKE, Helm, Istio, ArgoCD)
• Strong monitoring/troubleshooting (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Deep understanding of cloud security and compliance (IAM, VPC SC, ISO 27001, SOC 2)
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Google Cloud certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing GCP infrastructure (compute, storage, networking).
• Managing IAM policies, security configurations, and compliance.
• Deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Configuring and optimizing Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and containerized workloads.
• Troubleshooting cloud performance, networking, and security issues.
• Supporting cloud migration projects and hybrid-cloud setups.
