About this Role

As a Senior Cloud Engineer in our EDMI Energy Cloud Operations team, you will ensure our cloud and physical environments are operationally supported and validated as the solution offering expands. You’ll work closely with developers, solution consultants, and our customer experience team—applying a DevOps mindset and collaborating in an agile environment to deliver outstanding results.

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative professional who is passionate about innovation, continuous improvement, and guiding junior team members. Strong communication skills, proactive ownership of responsibilities, and the ability to mentor others are essential.

In this role you will:

• Provide pre- and post-sales product support for EDMI’s Energy Cloud, managing customer queries, service requests, incidents, and problems
• Validate new services as the Energy Cloud expands, staying up to date with Azure trends
• Implement and streamline cloud infrastructure, systems, and application solutions with a focus on CI/CD and automation
• Guide and mentor junior staff, leading technical discussions and sharing best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure cloud solutions
• Participate in an on-call roster, responding to incidents after hours, weekends, and public holidays

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 5+ years of enterprise experience with Azure (or equivalent platforms)
• Possess a relevant qualification in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent industry certifications
• Demonstrate experience with Windows and Linux environments, Bash, Git, and agile methodologies
• Show familiarity with automation and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Have proven ability to take end-to-end ownership of projects from inception to delivery
• Ideally hold Azure Certifications (AZ-900, AZ-204, AZ-104) and/or programming experience in Python or Ruby
