Summary

Validus Capital, an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm and Multi-Family Office based out of El Segundo, California is seeking a self-motivated and dynamic Senior Client Service Associate for a multi-faceted service and support role.


Validus Capital serves the needs of high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and their families. In this role, the qualified individual will be a primary contact person responsible for service and support of a subset of the firm’s clients, working in close collaboration with firm partners, lead advisors, and other colleagues performing various critical day-to-day client service functions to maintain an elevated level of client service.


Responsibilities include:

  • Primary contact, oversight, day to day management and coverage of select group of firms’ top clients, including, but not limited to onboarding, maintenance, capital movement, key support for periodic portfolio reviews and planning discussions.
  • Interacting with clients and colleagues to handle: money movements, client entity structuring/restructuring, asset reconciliations, transaction research, trading, documentation requests, and various client and internal reporting requests.
  • Coordinate, collaborate, and harmonize with team members to push the envelope on new ways to maintain efficient workflows while delivering an elevated level of client service.
  • Assist with firmwide operational functions and regulatory compliance projects as needed.


Preferred qualifications:

  • 5- 10+ years recent experience as a Senior client associate or similar role at a wealth management, broker-dealer, banking, or investment banking firm.
  • Strong common-sense problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-paced, disciplined, and can thrive in both unstructured and structured environments.
  • Proactive mindset, multi-task with the ability to pivot and re-prioritize projects and tasks quickly.
  • An undergraduate degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics.
  • S65 or equivalent
