Summary
Your Responsibilities:
Provide independent advisory services and support for complex client transactions in domestic and international markets, covering both lending and deposit business
Manage and expand your assigned client portfolio proactively, by building strong relationships and acquiring new clients and opportunities (finance transactions > 30 m.) while balancing profitability and risk
Maintain accurate data records, coordinate the collection of key documents for decision-making and co-write market reports
Analyze, structure, and process credit applications, presenting transactions to internal committees (New Business Committee and Executive Board)
Lead deal teams, managing transactions from initial contact through approval and independent contract negotiations to closing
Oversee portfolio management, including loan renewals and risk monitoring, proactively identifying and addressing market, client, and asset-related risks
Proactively maintain and expand the network of Berlin Hyp
Your Profile:
VWO and a university degree in a related subject, e.g. business administration, economics, fiscal, law or a comparable qualification, along with at least ten years of experience in commercial lending and/or real estate financing
Strong expertise in international real estate financing, with solid industry knowledge in the market incl. moral dilemmas of a financial institution
Confidence in an international client environment, with strong negotiation skills - even in high-stakes situations with diverse interests
Excellent analytical skills to assess financial conditions and complex transactions
A team-oriented yet deal focused mindset with a client-first approach, strong communication and risk awareness, and a commitment to quality and service excellence
Strong communicational skills in Dutch, English and preferably in German (not mandatory)
