ANICON. continued success in securing large scale construction projects throughout Athens and the surrounding region of Greece is increasing the demand for a dynamic Senior Project Manager ( Civil Structural Engineer) to join our experienced team, service our clients and secure the implementation of their investments.

Our projects relate to a variety of high profile local and international clients in the hospitality, residential and commercial sector providing our Project Managers with a diverse and exciting workload.

We are currently looking for an inhouse experienced Civil / Structural Engineer with a strong focus on the Private Sector and a combination of experience in Design, Site and Project Management.

To constitute a good fit the candidate must be well-versed in construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results and contractual deliverables.

The position reports to the Projects Director & Founder & Managing Director.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities

• Provide high quality project and program management standards across the project lifecycle.
• Providing top quality customer service to our clients.
• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary professional teams.
• Lead and facilitate communications and relationships with clients and stakeholders implementing effective and efficient communication tools.
• Collaborating with engineers and other consultants to determine the specifications of the project.
• Design review, cost review.
• Value Engineering.
• Cost Evaluation of materials.
• Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements to safeguard the clients’ interests.
• Keep track of contractual agreements and deliverables.
• Reviewing technical terms in contracts.
• Follow up time schedule.
• Produce monthly reports including timelines, risk registers, etc.
• Supervise the work on site when necessary.

Technical Experience:

• 12 to 15 years of solid technical background in civil engineering design and or construction projects with large scale structures.
• Proven experience in Project Management.
• Management of a project throughout its lifecycle.
• Designing.

Use of systems:

• Proficient in MS Office, Google workspace.
• Various Design programs, AUTOCAD etc.
• Experience in BIM environment will be considered a plus.
• Experience in Microsoft Project /or any other equivalent project management software will be considered a plus.
• Experience in any construction management software (i.e. Aconex, Procore) will be considered a plus.

Education

• MSc. in Civil / Structural Engineering
• Project Management Qualification is considered a plus.

Languages:

• English proficiency spoken and written is a prerequisite.
• Greek proficiency spoken and written is a prerequisite.
