Civil Structural Engineer – Auckland

Our Auckland Civil Structures team specialises in the design, assessment, and asset management of bridges and civil structures, including ports, cut-and-cover tunnels, airport works, and rail. We are seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our trusted and motivated team, dedicated to working together to deliver quality work to our clients. We are continually striving to grow and share knowledge, develop our team, advance digital delivery, sustainable outcomes and technical innovations to push and challenge boundaries and overcome conventions and constraints.

Overall, you can expect to participate in, lead design teams and work with Clients on an exciting range of structural and multi-disciplinary projects.

You will be passionate about bridges and other structures with a strong delivery focus and Client relationships. You will be a collaborative team player with practical problem-solving skills and proven technical ability in design and delivery. Your design experience has been gained on infrastructure and multidisciplinary projects, including seismic design and analysis.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills and thrives in a tight-knit and high performing team environment. Additionally, you should have the ability to collaborate effectively with a range of personal across the wider business, leads with a growth mindset and embraces challenges. If you are chartered or motivated to achieve chartership, we will provide support to help you reach your goals.

Experience Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in a consulting environment.
• Professional registration or on a clear path to achieving registration.
