Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Change / Programme Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant expertise in managing change at a programme level, specifically within the financial planning and wealth management sectors. The position requires proficiency in Conquest (Cash Flow Monitoring Tool) or Iress Xplan, with experience in both financial planning software and programme-level change management.


Key Responsibilities:


Programme Management: Lead and manage change across large-scale programmes, ensuring effective implementation of new processes, tools, and systems.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand programme requirements, challenges, and objectives. Build strong relationships with key internal teams, including the finance and wealth management divisions.
  • Change Leadership: Take ownership of driving and supporting change initiatives across the organisation. Lead change efforts in line with business goals and strategic priorities.
  • Tool Management: Leverage expertise in Conquest and Iress Xplan to support the transition, optimisation, and management of these systems across relevant teams.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify, monitor, and manage potential risks and issues arising during the change process. Proactively develop mitigation strategies.
  • Training and Support: Develop and deliver training, materials, and resources for teams impacted by changes to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the progress of change initiatives, ensuring goals are met and adjusting strategies as necessary.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Change Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing change at a programme level, ideally in the wealth management or financial planning sector.
  • Financial Planning Systems: In-depth knowledge of Conquest (Cash Flow Monitoring Tool) or Iress Xplan. Direct experience with Conquest would be highly beneficial.
  • Programme Leadership: Strong experience as a Change Lead, Programme Manager, or Programme Change Manager.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders at all levels, including managing relationships across different teams and functions.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Demonstrated capability in identifying and managing project risks and issues, ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience within wealth management and a deep understanding of the industry.
  • Knowledge of other financial planning tools and systems.
  • Additional qualifications in change management or project management (e.g., PROSCI, PMP).
